Annotation

In the article industrial model as an object of patent law is described. Some controversial problems related to the essence of this object are considered. The author argues the conclusion that it is necessary to define the essence of the specific industrial model through the pictures only. In this connection, the author substantiates the expediency to exclude essential indications from the list of industrial model. In the article the correlation between an industrial model and related objects, in particular, trade marks, is also consid- ered.
